Phuong Chamberlain has spent 6 years working as a commercial escrow assistant for a major title company, where she has developed her attention to details and customer relations skills. In 2009, she decided she wanted to pursue a career in which she could exercise her creativity, as well as utilize her existing skills. Weddings à la Mode is a business which she and her husband, Lloyd Chamberlain, have started in 2009.
After successfully planning her own wedding back in September 2005, Phuong can honestly say through hands on experience that planning a wedding is like having a second job.

After helping other family members plan their wedding, Phuong decided that weddings and special events are the perfect venue for her to express her creativity; as well as a place for her to make a positive impact on other people's lives.
Phuong has studied graphic design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She has also spent 2 years working as an office coordinator for a graphic design firm, where her major contribution was helping to generate the majority of new business through web search engine positioning. Phuong is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.
Lloyd Chamberlain has spent over 10 years working as an information technology specialist, of which the last 2 years have been spent managing a regional I.T. department. Lloyd’s experience in project and vendor management, combined with his interpersonal skills and delightful sense of humor make him a strong asset to Weddings à la Mode.
Lloyd has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from City of London Polytechnic, now known as The London Metropolitan University. He also has 3 years of experience as a bartender, as well as 2 years of experience as a caterer for weddings and special events.
Weddings are fun, and are about sharing good times with family and friends. Lloyd believes that life is about making personal connections and nurturing relationships.
